Plummer and Sarah had seven children, Clarence Elder, Clemmer Lamar, Connor, Henry Auburn, James Rowan, and Monnie Saucier.
Henri (Henry) Severin Saucier was born on Saturday February 11, 1826 at Delisle, Mississippi and died on Friday October 2, 1885 at age fifty-nine in Harrison County. Henri Severin Saucier was the fifth child and fourth son of Pierre Phillip and Isabel Nicaise Saucier. In August of 1852 at the age of twenty-six, he married fifteen year old Elizabeth Jane Tanner from Redmond, Mississippi, daughter of Christopher Tanner and Mary Galloway. Elizabeth was born on Sunday June 25, 1837 and died on Sunday November 7, 1909, age seventy-two, at Lyman and is buried beside Henri and several of their children and numerous descendants in the family cemetery at Beulah Church Cemetery. In 1860, they were living in Stone County on Flint Creek next to Elizabeth’s parents and had just three children at the time.
Henri was in the business of making wheels for buggies and wagons while living at Flint Creek. Later when he moved to the coastal area he made his living in the timber and logging industry and farming as most of his family members, while living in the Lyman area. Later, he supported his family as a huckster or merchant in Harrison County until his death. At his father's death in 1874, Henri Severin was left 40 acres of land and 30 head of cattle in his father's will. Henri Severin served during the Civil War in the Confederate Army as a Private with the ninth Louisiana Infantry. Henri Severin Saucier enlisted on March 8, 1861 in Company A of the 9th Louisiana Infantry and was discharged at the end of the war on April 26, 1865. Since the majority of his family served with the 3rd Mississippi in his home state it leaves the question of why he chose to serve with the Louisiana unit instead of with his family members in the 3rd Mississippi. They had twelve children, Mary Elizabeth, Matilda, William Jefferson, Calvin Jackson, Josephine, Rosalie, John Randolph, Andrew Henry, Louisa Adelaide, Elmer Seaman, Sarah Cecile and their youngest, Alfred Ellis Saucier.
Mary Elizabeth Saucier, the first born child of Henri (Henry) Severin Saucier and Elizabeth Jane Tanner was born on Friday March 10, 1854 in Lyman and died on Wednesday March 5, 1925 in Stuttgart, Arkansas at the age of seventy-one according to her obituary published on March 7, 1925. On February 6, 1873 at the age of eighteen, she married twenty-three year old William Pierce Jones of Smith County, Mississippi in Gulfport, Mississippi. They were married in Harrison County by a Justice of the Peace. William was the son of Henry Thomas Jones and Martha Windham. He was born on Thursday March 29, 1849 in Mississippi and died on Saturday September 18, 1926 in Arkansas at age seventy-seven. William's sister, Nancy E. Jones, married William Jefferson Saucier who was the brother of Mary Elizabeth. Mary and William raised a family of eleven children and in later years made their home for awhile in the Saucier and Wortham area before moving to and settling at Stuttgart, Arkansas. Their children were, Henry Thomas, William Jackson, Martha Elizabeth, John Emeral, Wilbur, William Bernard, Samuel Pierce, Mary Emma, Eugene Milton, Robert Chalmond and Lilly Mae Jones.

On July 17, 1879, at age twenty-three, she married twenty-three year old John W. Livings born on Thursday July 17, 1856 in Gulfport, Mississippi. It is believed Matilda died in about 1955 and if the date is correct it would have made her ninety-eight years old at the time of her death. John was born on July 17, 1856 in Alabama and he died in February of 1930 at Montgomery, Alabama at age seventy-three. Matilda and John had nine children, William, Martha, Joseph, Martha, Rosanna, Delicad, Mary, Susan and John W. Livings, Jr. before John’s death.

William Jefferson was born on Friday June 17, 1859 in Lyman, Mississippi and died on Friday December 6, 1918 in Gulfport at the age of fifty-nine. He was the grandson of Pierre Phillip Saucier and Isabelle Nicaise; first great grandson of Philippe Saucier and Ursula Grelot, second great grandson of Jean Baptiste Saucier and Pelagie Tixerand, third great grandson of Henri Saucier and Barbe LaCroix, and the fourth great grandson of Jean Baptiste Saucier and Gabrielle Savary. On July 20, 1882, at the age of twenty-three, he married twenty-eight year old, Nancy Elizabeth Jones, who was born on Saturday October 1, 1853 and died on Sunday September 13, 1931 at age seventy-seven. The cause of death for William Jefferson was due to what was at first thought to be a very minor injury. But later it became much worse and caused his death. About one month before his death William was chopping wood for the fire place when a sharp piece of wood splintered off and struck him and penetrated his leg by his ankle. It was so small that William thought nothing of it and disregarded the wound. After a period of time it became swollen and infected, which led to gangrene of his lower leg, ankle and foot. After being admitted to the hospital and his condition worsened, the gangrene resulted in his death at 2 am on Friday December 6, 1918 at the King Daughter's Hospital in Gulfport. William Jefferson Saucier and Nancy Elizabeth Jones were the parents of six sons, Walter Monroe, Loring Jefferson, Wallace, Ellis, Charles Richard and Lorenzo William Saucier.
Calvin Jackson Saucier was the fourth child and second son born to Henri (Henry) Severin Saucier and Elizabeth Jane Tanner. Calvin Jackson was born on Saturday July 13, 1861 in Lyman and died on Friday January 3, 1913 at age fifty-two in Lyman. She was born on Friday March 22, 1867 and died at age fifty-six on Friday October 5, 1923 at Lyman. Calvin Jackson and Martha Ophelia made their home in the area in northern Harrison County east of Lyman, Mississippi that became to be called “Beulah” after the family Church, Beulah Methodist, was constructed in the center of the settlement. Here they raised eleven children, Ada Elizabeth, John Rudolph, Randolph, Thomas Aaron, Homer Jackson, and Henry Royal, who was known as Roy, Callie Cecile, Bertha Jane, known as Bert, Delia Ophelia, Leona Lee, and the youngest, Ora Mae Saucier. Calvin Jackson and his sons made their livings in the timber industry. His sons spent their entire working years with the Gulfport Creosoting Company. Many of their children married and settled on land given them adjoining their parents’ home in Beulah as did some grandchildren who still reside on that property. They made their home in the Beulah community near Lyman that was originally settled by their father and an uncle, surrounded by their siblings and their families. At the beginning of his ministry Randolph served as the pastor of the family church, Beulah Methodist, which was built by brothers Alfred Ellis and Calvin Jackson Saucier (Randolph’s father) and their brother-in-law Daniel Saucier (their cousin who married their sister Ada) for their families to attend church services. Randolph held services starting in 1926 on the first and third Sundays at Beulah Methodist for several years and was also pastor of the Mississippi City Methodist Church where he held services on the second and fourth Sundays. Randolph, who was ordained in 1925, at the time of his death had been pastor for the past three years of the New Augusta Methodist Church in New Augusta, Mississippi. According to newspaper articles, many Methodist Church ministers and church officials took part in his funeral services at New Augusta and he was brought to his family home in Beulah to be buried in the community he grew up in. Randolph and Ella Mae Nelson Saucier had one daughter, Thelma Louise Saucier.
Thomas Aaron Saucier, called Aaron, the fourth child and third born son of Calvin Jackson Saucier and Martha Ophelia Warden was born on Saturday September 10, 1892 and died on Monday February 6, 1922 at the young age of twenty-nine. He was a grandson of Henri (Henry) Severin Saucier and Elizabeth Jane Tanner, great grandson of Pierre Phillip Saucier and Isabelle Nicaise; second great grandson of Philippe Saucier and Ursula Grelot, third great grandson of Jean Baptiste Saucier and Pelagie Tixerand, fourth great grandson of Henri Saucier and Barbe LaCroix, and Thomas Aaron was the fifth great grandson of Jean Baptiste Saucier and Gabrielle Savary. Blanch had married Thomas Aaron's brother Homer Jackson Saucier and Mozart married Thomas Aaron's sister Delia Ophelia Saucier. Thomas Aaron Saucier and Vilanda Landrum had two daughters before his early death, Blonda Grace and Olga Bernette Saucier. Thomas' wife Vilanda married George Johnson on December 21, 1927, almost six years after Thomas Aaron's death.
On May 6, 1910, a short humorous story was published in the local newspaper concerning Calvin and Martha's son Aaron. It seems that Aaron and two of his young friends, brothers Will and Seff Johnson, skipped church services on this particular Sunday and got into some mischief on the church grounds during services. The three were arrested, in order to scare them, and charged by the judge with "disturbing divine worship at the Beulah Methodist Church" that morning. They appeared in Judge H. D. Moore's court on Monday afternoon. The church's pastor, Rev. Jasper Creel, was one of several witnesses, but his testimony and that of the others, as well, was so extremely hazy and unconvincing that the judge was unable to make a case against the three young men, so they were released by the judge hearing the case in the Gulfport court. I'm certain they never disturbed services at the church in the future.

I do not recall who she was supposed to have been married to or for what reason she was single for the remainder of her life.

Calvin Jackson and Martha Ophelia and many of their descendants are buried in the family cemetery in back of Beulah Methodist Church at Beulah.
